Down With It – Down Syndrome Support Group

Down With It is a welcoming parent-led Down Syndrome Support Group based in Croydon. Set up by local mums, the group provides reassurance, friendship, and practical support for families with a child who has Down syndrome. They meet every second Monday of the month (term time only) from 10am–1pm at Our Lady of Annunciation Church in Addisc

Down With It is a welcoming parent-led Down Syndrome Support Group based in Croydon. Set up by local mums, the group provides reassurance, friendship, and practical support for families with a child who has Down syndrome. They meet every second Monday of the month (term time only) from 10am–1pm at Our Lady of Annunciation Church in Addiscombe, offering a safe space to chat over a cuppa while children play. Families can also connect through Facebook, WhatsApp, and one-to-one meet-ups.

We’re raising £5,000 to host monthly autism and ADHD-friendly family activities in Croydon, providing specialist provisions for the SEND community. Funds will help secure venues such as a community hall, sports hall, or swimming facilities, creating safe and inclusive spaces for children and families to connect, play, and thrive. Every donation brings us closer to making these much-needed sessions a reality.

Autism Adult Social Club 18+ & 50+

A2ndvoice and partners provide welcoming, in-person activities for autistic adults aged 18+ across Wandsworth, Lambeth, and Southwark. Sessions include arts & crafts, gaming, open mic, picnics, water sports, workshops, and more. PAs and carers are welcome to attend. We also host a monthly online meet-up for autistic adults aged 50+, offer

NHS Talking Therapies tailored to support for dads, partners, & carers

Croydon Family Hub and Croydon NHS Talking Therapies offer tailored support for dads, partners, and carers of children under five. Becoming a parent can be both exciting and overwhelming, and this service provides a safe space to talk about wellbeing, stress, and low mood. Appointments and drop-ins are available with Perinatal Link Worker

Croydon Family Hub and Croydon NHS Talking Therapies offer tailored support for dads, partners, and carers of children under five. Becoming a parent can be both exciting and overwhelming, and this service provides a safe space to talk about wellbeing, stress, and low mood. Appointments and drop-ins are available with Perinatal Link Worker, Elena Carey, at the Woodlands Family Hub in South Croydon, with telephone and video sessions also available on request.

Chill and Chat (term time only)

Croydon Mencap run a welcoming Chill and Chat group for parents of children under 5 with additional needs. Held on Tuesdays at Shirley Children’s Centre, sessions include singing, stories, play, and lots of fun activities for little ones, while also offering a chance for parents to connect and gain support. Families can also join their WhatsApp group or get support by phone.
