Croydon Mencap also host creative activities like their Clay Workshop at the Museum of Croydon. This friendly, hands-on session offers a chance to connect, create, and relax — no experience needed. Whether you’re building a pot or just having fun with clay, it’s all about “messy hands, calm minds, and warm company.”
Croydon Mencap run a welcoming Chill and Chat group for parents of children under 5 with additional needs. Held on Tuesdays at Shirley Children’s Centre, sessions include singing, stories, play, and lots of fun activities for little ones, while also offering a chance for parents to connect and gain support. Families can also join their WhatsApp group or get support by phone.
