You’re Never Alone CIC is a community-led organisation created to support parents and carers of children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). We provide a safe, inclusive, and understanding space for families to connect, share, and grow—because we know what this journey really feels like.
The organisation was founded by Ellen, a parent who experienced first-hand the challenges, isolation, and emotional strain that can come with raising a child with additional needs. Her vision was to create a community where no parent or carer ever felt alone—somewhere built on empathy, lived experience, and genuine understanding.
Caprice, who began as an attendee at the group, joined as a volunteer last year. As a parent of children with SEND herself, she found strength and support through the group, and quickly discovered a passion for helping others within the same community. Together, Ellen and Caprice bring warmth, authenticity, and real-life understanding to everything we do.
At You’re Never Alone CIC, we offer:
Our dream was to build a community within a community—and we truly feel we’ve achieved that. Over the past few years, we’ve seen real friendships form and lasting support networks develop. Everything we do is rooted in lived experience, kindness, and the belief that nobody should face this journey alone.
At You're Never Alone CIC, our mission is to provide confidential, emotional, and practical support to parents, carers, and family members of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)—especially those who are socially isolated or vulnerable.
We’re here to be a listening ear, an invisible friend, and a source of real, judgement-free support. You can reach us via Facebook, Instagram, telephone, and email—however you feel most comfortable.
We aim to:
Your donation helps cover the essential running costs that keep our doors open—funding vital events for SEND children, weekly support groups for parents and carers, and educational workshops.
Every contribution—big or small—helps us continue providing guidance, self-care, and a safe community for families who need it most.
Donate today and help us keep changing lives.
